Nope have neither one and personally I think most diagnosis for add and adhd are bogus due to the fact the doctors don't get more involved with their patients to find out what their food intake is and how many chemicals they are sucking down that could be causing issues with their mental health. Change of diet, less processed sugar all organic foods does wonders for the human body.

Yes, nutrition is an important factor. We are swallowing all sorts of substances along with our food that are chemicals our organism was not developed to process: artificial colourings, artificial sweeteners, etc. All those get into our metabolism.
As for the diagnosis of adhd, consider that our way of living is becoming more and more sedentary. We do less and less physical work, and some people don't even walk anymore, but go everywhere by car. Do you think someone would still be hyperactive after milking their cows at dawn, helping to build a pyramid, ploughing a few fields or hunting down a few Mammoths? I don't. I am pretty sure people in past times had a quick dinner and fell asleep like stones. Modern lifestyle in many aspects contradicts what evolution made us for.
I am not saying add and adhd do not exist, what I am saying - just like Colleen, is, that many cases of these two diseases are due to something else than an "error" inheritent in your system.
