MY BOYFRIEND AND I HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR THREE YEARS AND WE STILL HAVE PROBLEMS TRUSTING EACH OTHER. SO WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE GOOD FOR US TO TAKE A POLYGRAPH TEST TO FIND SOME ANSWERS, WERE HIDING FROM EACH OTHER. WE TELL EACH OTHER WHAT WE DID BUT STILL I DON'T BELIEVE HIM AT ALL. NOPE... HE DOESN'T BELIEVE ME EITHER. I KNOW DEEP DOWN THAT I'M TELLING THE TRUTH TO THE FULLEST AND HE'S NOT, THAT'S THE TRUTH. I KNOW IT.

To have a good relationship, you both need to have trust in each other, which neither of you appear to have hence the polygraph. By having a polygraph,( maybe of help,) on the other hand, it might not be.One could find out some thing about other person, which upsets you alot.
My advice, have the polygraph, accept the answers you are hiding from each other, Forgive and Forget the past, and move on in your relationship. Good Luck to you both.

if after 3 years you dont trust him a polygraph test wont make any difference.even if you took the test and it came out with good results after a while you would be back to not trusting.sounds terminal to me.you dont say what ages you are(young would be my guess).find some one you trust.

In my opinion, taking the polygraph sould not solve trust issues between spouses, because I don't think that the degree of mistrust sould be that bad in romantic relationships. You don't trust each other bcause of things that happened?
