Do not take a wild bird egg!  They are needed to keep the eco-system in balance (that, and it will break the mum and dad's heart.  There are plenty of cool birds bred in captivity.

Do, there should be a bumper sticker ..."leave wildlife "wild", do not touch!

(that didn't come out quite right did it?) LOL

Anne, get a national geographic dvd, and you can enjoy wild birds whenever you like!  Or a camera, and learn how to "just leave footprints".   Wildlife have enough hardships in our world today, why harass them with you wanting one as a pet?  Get a life, and a clue!

what would you rather see a bird singing in the tree`s or another egg in your collection.

Here in the UK it's illegal to touch wild birds nests, eggs, or keep or harm wild  birds.

It's illegal to keep a wild bird.

    Find a wild bird.

Do not take a wild bird out of the wild unless it is injured. If it is, take it to a vet and care for it, you can only keep it if it's bonded to you and is unreleasable.
