thank you for printing this, Julie. That's the reason behind why they formed the Red Hat club, or the Red Hatters. The idea is for a bunch of retired women to wear a red hat and purple skirt, or pants, and go out together gallavanting to movies,plays, musicals, out to dinner, to the casino. I'm going to join it. My mother loved this one purple outfit she had.So one day, years ago, she said, " I want to be buried in this some day " So, I had her buried in it along with her purple necklace. And she wouldn't be caught dead ( no pun intended ) without her earrings on and her nail polish on,and her rose colored lipsitck on so I saw to all that . I wear a lot of purple too.
