Are medical personnel asking about gun ownership?

Rumor has it that medical facilities are now asking people who visit their offices if they own a gun in order for Obamacare to track gun ownership.

Yup. It's one of Obama's 23 executive orders that bypass Congress. The power of Obama's Obamacare begins to come to light. There's a lot more buried in it's 906 pages. Pelosi was stated as saying, we need to pass it (Obamacare) in order to find out what's in it. Scary, huh?

It may be so but it's not a statutory declaration. You can always just answer NO.You would be under no obligation to tell the truth about anything other than your health history.

I find this one very hard to believe. It's one thing for a doctor to ask, especially if the patient has anxiety issues, but to be part of a gun-owning registry is laughable.

Then again, you DID say "Rumour has it".

Not rumor. It's part of the list he announced himself. Pay attention if you want to be involved in USA politics. Other executive orders within the 23 would make it part of a gun owning registry.

I can't find it but I'm sure you have it handy or know exactly where to locate it. Please forward. Thanks.

Interesting, the detailed information for each order has been removed from the internet. Now we only get the headline list without the added details to each order. I wonder why the details have been removed......hmmmm. I'll continue my search to see if I can find a site left that gives the actual details of each order.

These orders also completely ignore the issue of the psychiatric drugging of children, which we know is linked to nearly every school shooting that has taken place.

Obama has completely ignored the issue of violent video games, violent movies and violent television programming. Why? Because they do not fit his agenda of removing guns from the American people.

I doubt that a systematic doctor-driven ownership reporting is part of any Executive Order.

Thank God you're Canadian and no part of the mindless sheeple who vote in morons like Obama. You can safely sit and doubt everything because you will never be affect by any of it. You are now simply trolling.

Perhaps, but that's not what Stetson1 was asking, or commenting on.

    Get it?

That answers his question. The rest of what I posted answered your request with more information that adds to my comment of him ignoring the most important aspects of kids killing kids and adults.

The full explanation of #16 which has been removed from the internet is to clarity it is a new request that doctors ask about guns in the home.

Colleen, your sentiments towards Obama are very well known on AKAQA. However, you are not responding to the question.

"16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes."

Where's the explanation? The title simply states that doctors may not be prohibited to ask about guns. That's a far cry from obliging them to report on all patients. What's wrong with them asking whenever they believe that the patient may be mentally unstable? Aren't YOU the one that keeps repeating that gun criminals are all crooks or nutcases and are out in the streets because of legislation that let them free.
So now you're opposed to asking possible "nuts" whether they own guns?
    Flip Flop.

I am against MD's playing psychologist and determining that a person who had a bad day might be psychotic and should be reported for having guns in their house. MD's do not have training to be psychological profilers.

Now THERE'S an argument-winner. Good night,Colleen. You need some serious rest.

You need to pay attention and read what I posted. You asked for it, bypassed it commented that I hadn't answered the question. I answered it. Obama found a way to mix gun control with Obamacare. Obamacare would not stand in the way of something Dr's have never asked before so they could report gun ownership of a patient to the feds. Doctor/patient confidentiality prohibits doctors from sharing that information or at least it use to until Obamacare and executive order #16. Obamacare removes the confidentiality clause. " the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes" That removes the long standing clause in the medical profession. It also opens the door for doctors to rat out gun owners based on a bad day.
Goodnight to you too. Rest up so you have plenty of energy for another day of trolling.
