Unfortunately, Roi-Tan (pronounced "Roy Tan") cigars appear to be discontinued now. Roi-Tan cigars was a very memorable brand owned by The American Cigar Company. The brand was very popular in the 1940's through 1960's with their catchy ad campaign ("Man to man, smoke a Roi-Tan!") and the brand consisted of domestic, machine-made cigars. Originally the cigars were packaged in traditional dress cigar boxes but later switched to inexpensive cardboard sleeve packs.

In 1986, The American Cigar Company was bought out by Altadis USA and the Roi-Tan brand was transferred to them. The Roi-Tan brand did survive into the 1990's but no longer appears in Altadis' domestic cigar product line.

What you should do is contact your local cigar store and hopefully they may be able to track down a vintage box of Roi-Tans for you.

I added the link. Please provide a link and not just the name. This will slow down the complaints that the admin have been receiving from sites who can track copied information.

These cigars were discontinued. The boxes are now collectors items. You can find the boxes on eBay.

    i think
