Colleen, if I treat the wood before I bring it in fofr the woodstove...the pesticiode will blow up the stove!!!!
OK. People. What good would it do to sue Home Depot? All your appendiges would be in another city. I'm with the Busty one....and I don't know about your Home Depot, but I even know some at ours and it is very scarry. I know more than they do, so...ah. I guess it depends on their staff....OR NOT :) but i do appreciate a try. Actually herbs will work the best. Acombo like a poupourie and they be gone. Sorry. Can't spell.
It was a joke about suing them. Do what you want. The bugs are in the wood that you are bringing into the house. Not all pesticides would blow up in a wood stove. My home depot has a very knowledgeable staff actually. They always have the correct answers for me no matter what I'm there for.

You need to treat the wood before you bring it into the house. Go to Home Depot and get a pesticide.

must be careful, some may form harmful vapors from combustion, if smoke gets into house?? Just a thought..
Home Depot people are suppose to be knowledgeable about the products they sell. Each product will have warnings for proper usage applied to the label.
Do not burn the wood, check out the identity of these insects. If they are termites or carpenter ants, you do not even want them on your property...

It does sound like termites which means their house is probably already infested. A good reason to not stack fire wood against a house.
