    what´s the meaning of "sold you on"?

    I've "convinced you".  I've sold you on it (the idea, the concept). You've "bought into it" (my idea, my plan, my way of thinking, etc.)

    "Talked into"...........

    Can you please give an example of this used in a sentence? If I was able to have you believe in what I told you, you could say that "I sold you on it." 

    i think it might be a stockbrokers term?????
