Sorry to be the pessimist but peace in the world?  That's never gunna happen.There are too many religous differences,too many cultural differences,Too many despot rulers living the high life while their subjects starve.& too many people not willing to accept progress & change for the better.Sure I'd like to see it all happen.Great men (& women) have dreamed of it for centuries & still no-one has ever been able to make it work.The best we can hope for is to be on good terms with those in our immediate surroundings.

I too would love to see peace in the world - but I know its only a dream.

The only time there is is now…the past is a fable and the future an illusion. Now is the only time and place that peace can be found. Put more of your time in the stillness of now and now is where peace is found. Peace is the acceptance of this very moment…and the more we are in now, the less we are dashing between past and future attempting to force reality ti become what it is not into what it can only be if we stop stirring the pot.

I would like to change people's thinking so they accept others as equal regardless of color or other differences. That change spells P E A C E.

Poverty and homelessness and people`s negativity to helping other people in need!

There are homeless people in our town. I don’t see where they live and I don’t know how they live. I’m not one of them. For that I’m grateful. I know of a woman who has so much wealth. A vacation home, expensive trips, expensive wardrobe, jewels, a big boat ...so much. Too much.

When she speaks of the homeless she has such scorn in her voice. I believe she thinks these people are going to take away her wealth somehow. She hates them and says they’re lazy, crazy, drunks. It has never occured to her that these people may have physical or mental health problems, (or both) It doesn’t occur to her that these people may have come from homes where they have been raised by parents who don’t function well. As children they may have been hit, starved, bullied ... all that.

I would like to change how people think. I would like them to understand the pain of others and give what they can to make life easier.   I would like people to have these words in their hearts:     There but for fortune go you or me                         

To get peace, first you need to convince people that religion is un-necessary, evil and divisive.

for people to realize we are not only responsible for ourselves, our biggest responsibility of all should be looking after our fellow man.

Regardless of the color of our skin

Or what tongue we speak

If we hold hands together to fight for survival
