According to imformation posted on the internet, impedance is calculated as follows:
1 / [(1/I3) + (1/I2) + (1/I3) + ...]
'I' repressents the impedance of individual speakers. In your case, the calculation is
1 / [(1/8) + (1/8)] = 4.
Another way to calculate impedance if the loads are eight or four ohms is as follows:
impedance = 8 / n. n is the number of 8 ohm speakers plus twice the number of 4 ohm speakers.
