Sylvie,
Don't get discouraged. As they say in business and real estate: Location,Location,Location. What is going to happen here is you are going to have to play detective. 35 years is a long time and if you are unsure of individual complete family names. One might start at Ancestry.com and always correlate the location and time last seen. If no luck then goto to state and local public records for the location and time example given: Barney P. Wingnut, Omaha, Nebraska 1978 What were their ages back then would they still be alive? If not? did they have children and so on. One can check census records, local chamber commerce, church records etc. It won't be easy but one must become creative what was their last known address Think and try to remember everything about them were they buying a home? If so, there should be tax records etc. was the father in the military they keep excellent records but one will have to learn how to access the information. Make this a treasure hunt for lost friends are truely a treasure. Good Luck and God Bless...
