    Yes, if it's hungry enough, although there is normally more than one, they hunt in packs.

    Yes,romos is right,they are pack animals & they use strategy. A couple of them will keep the animals attention head on while the rest of the pack will sneak up behind & go for vital spots to bring the animal down. All dogs hunt this way.
