    1. Contact the long-term care ombudsman in the state in which the abuse occurred > State Directory  http://www.ncea.aoa.gov/NCEAroot/Main_Site/Find_Help/State_Resources.aspx 


    2. Contact the adult protective services agency in the county in which the abuse occurred (blue pages  in the phone book listed under government) 


    3. Call 911 if you think the abused person might be in immediate danger.
