The head shot makes her look like she was on a bender, or smoking heavily. I'm sure she has someone to help her take care of the baby.

The "Artist" is actually a wildlife portrait guy, it shows I think, why they picked him I'll never know.

I think the portrait looks like her but it is missing her youth. It looks like an older version of her. I agree with Vinny. I wonder why the artist didn't see how old she look in this painting? If Princess Kate viewed the portrait first she should have told Mr. Harris the truth and ask him to polish the painting up. Maybe that's how she looks to him.

Chelleanne, a Paul Emsley was the artist, and you are right , there is no vibrancy in the portrait, i think he should start again and capture the true Kate.

Maybe the artist painted her looking hagard, b/c he had an ulterior motive....such as a personal vendetta towards British royalty. Although Kate is / was a commoner.

What a bl**dy shocker the artists has made her look like she needs hair later treatment around her chin lol.. I really liked Rolf Harris portrait of the queen beats that hands down..

Yep! That's what I'm referring to.He was terrific.He could paint a whole landscape in about 5 minutes.

I know he really is an Aussie character :) I enjoyed listening to his songs and still find myself singing I'm jake the peg diddle idle idle o with my extra leg..

Lol I love that song now wonder the rest of the world was convinced we had kangas as pets lol...

I use to tell people from overseas I worked on the harbour bridge as a shoo ...
Would shoo all the kangaroos and koalas off the bridge so they didn't get hit by cars...
Tie that kangaroo down sport, no roos on the bridge :)

The last two are real photos. The top one is a painting and so far the vote on Facebook is everyone hates the portrait. I just added the real photos to show how bad the painting really is.

I`d have recognized her from it..but it makes her look dowdy and seems very old fashioned!...It certainly doesn`t do her justice..There`s no fresh faced look about her!..I don`t know who the artist is..or if she has any say in it before it`s released..but imo..I`d rip it up and start again!..(The artist has probably been sent to The
Tower by now!;-)

Wow, that is disappointing. She photos as a beautiful, vibrant, intelligent enough woman with a twinkle in her eye, some mischief lurking behind. That portrait looks like a tired woman with too many kids, too much laundry to do, and an abusive hubby (if he's even still around). Too bad.
