Turn on your Philips TV if you haven't already done so.

Press the "Menu" button on your remote control or your TV to display the menu.

Select in order "Setup," "Features," "Caption Settings" and "Closed Captions."

Press the "Up" or "Down" arrow buttons to select "Off." Press "OK" to confirm and save your changes.

Press the "Menu" button to exit.

Or try unplugging the TV for 10 minutes to reset the computer.
