We'll all know the absolute truth about that, at the moment of death!  Until then, we go with what we have been taught, or read, or studied, or believe by faith.

Some will mourn your passing, while others will celebrate, and most won't care one way or the other. Life goes on. 
What happens to YOU depends on what you believe will happen to you.
Personally, I'm hoping for a better eternity than this life has been (of course, I understand I'm  responsible for that).

You cease to exist. After you die, you are about as active as you were before you was born. You know nothing because you don't exist anymore except in the minds of those that knew you and perhaps a few pictures taken while you were alive.  There's just not enough room on earth for the living and the living dead.
