    how do I set my desktop so that I can cut and paste any text from the web?

    On my desktop computer, I can highlight a sentence or two to cut and paste from the Web. On my laptop, I am unable to do so. I am sure it has to do with my settings when I get on the Web. i just don't know how to set it up. Thanks.
