This sounds like a job for ehow...just click on the link>>>>http://www.ehow.com/how_10024947_use-literati-ereader.html
Or I could just copy and paste that for you here>>>
Instructions
Connect the device to the included power adapter and let it charge for at least six hours before using it.
Press the "Home" button to access the Literati's main page. Press "Menu" to select a tab, such as "I'm Reading," a list of books you are currently reading; "Books/Library," a listing of all of the titles on the device; and "Store," where you can purchase new books. Use the D-Pad to navigate on each page. Press the center button to select a title.
Sort your library by pressing "Menu" and then selecting "By Title," "By Author," "Open" or "New." "Open" books are ones which you have begun reading. "New" sorts the books by the most recent purchase. Press the "Display" button and then select "Covers and Text" to show a listing of books or "Covers Only" to display a virtual bookshelf.
Open a book and press the right or left buttons on the side of the device to change pages. Press "Menu" and select "Next Chapter" or "Previous Chapter" to skip or restart a chapter. Select "Table of Contents" to view the table of contents.
Adjust the appearance of the page by pressing the "Display" button. You can select font size, typefaces or screen brightness from this menu.
Connect to a wireless network by pressing the "Menu" button from the home page and then selecting "Settings." Select "Enable" to turn on Wi-Fi. Select a network from the list and enter any passwords if prompted.
Press "Menu" and then "Store" from the home page to access the Kobo Bookstore. You will be asked to sign in or create an account once you attempt to buy a book. After purchasing a book, navigate to your "Books/Library" page and press the "Sync" button.
Add books over USB by connecting the Literati to a computer. Select "Open Folder to View Files" and then drag and drop books into the folder. Alternatively, click "Start," then "Computer" and select the Literati from the device list.
