    my 94 explorer 80,000 miles. got stuck in a ditch and worked it hard. the indicator lights are off but I think it is in 4 low. I have backed it up ran it forward put it in neutral and no luck the light indicating 4 wheel drive on the dash board isn't on either the main 20 amp fuse is good any ideas?

    How far did you back it up? Sometimes you have to back it up pretty far.

     Jack up one front wheel and try to turn it and see if it is still in. Sometimes they get bound up and won't come out till you take the pressure off and free it up. If it has those slip on front hubs they might be stuck too. Ford had a lot of problems with them.
