Dad's wife kidnapped him from his nursing home for Christmas.
I've employed Grandpa to help find him! We never knew Grandpa and my Dad hadn't seen him since he was 5 yrs old. I discovered this picture and confirmed his ID; This is Grandpa Jack at the age of 5.

We have, just this evening after 6 days of not knowing, been told that he is in another facility. Hope he is given the rehab he needs. Thanks Grandpa :)

This was a very exciting time for you! Finding this photo of your grandpa when he was only 5 is like finding a needle in a haystack! What a good looking little boy he was.
I'm so sorry you did not get to know him, and your dad only knew him for a few years. I never knew either of my grandpas (both killed in accidents, one in the 1930's in NY, the other in the 1940's in CA). I'm glad my sons had a chance to know both my parents, and hope I can live a long, semi-sane, and healthy life so my grandchildren get a good dose of Granny.

this is the weirdest '' question '' we've had yet on akaQA. But, the kid in the pic is cute. I've got a baby pic of my dad from 1906 when he was 6 months old.

This is my never-seen-by-me Grandpa.
He passed away in 1990 at the age of 91. My Dad hadn't seen him since he was 5yrs old.
I discovered this picture of Grandpa at 5yrs.
