    My Mother back, to cook the crappy Christmas dinner again, it might be better second time around,

    I know exactly how you feel, at the time i thought it was rather "goofy" but know i'd give my left knee to have it all back...GOD how I miss them days....HAPPY CHRISTMAS to you and your clan !!

    We do miss our lost relatives this time of year more than ever, don't we? My mom had a very difficult life, and is missed greatly.

    a lot of things in the stores and the music strongly remind me of my parents. Thought I was alone in this, but I see others are getting a little teary eyed too, about their lost loved ones.

    I hadn’t thought of my mom. I am now! She left with the Angels about 14 years ago. I MISS HER. She prided herself on NEVER missing a Christmas with me. My brother is much much older and was usually in another country at Christmas.

    We always saved the fancy bows and passed them back and forth throughout the years. Guess that ended when the folks moved to AZ.....

    I have a friend whose family has Christmas print fabric which they use as wrappings. They simply store it and it goes back and fourth each year, can't get more green than that!

    Feel for you Dollybird. they are at peace now no wars drugs killings I lost two brothers and a young sister within two years .but GIRL that`s how it goes .have a good new year toast them mum dad little sister .We will meet them one day Tam x

    Hi Tam. Thank you for your thoughful reply I am so sorry to know that you lost your two brothers and your sister with in two years. That is very sad.I lost my parents ten yrs a part, and sister, was still a baby. Because of this,I had more time to grieve.Yes, we will all meet one day. Muriel x
