If a heavy goods vehicle is driven with a faulty disc brake and the brake temperature rises to a point at which the pads begin to glow should the brake pads be replaced when they have cooled and the fault as been rectified or is it ok to re-use them

They should be replaced as soon as possible, optimally, before driving any further, so as to prevent accidents resulting in property damage at a minimum, and deaths, at the worst. This applies to any vehicle.

Replace them. The ultra high temp will have affected the bonding.
