don't get me wrong, i think the killings in Conn. are terrible, but why the major call for gun control? if the facts above are right, and they are, why are we not pushing for alcohol control?

Gun control did not work in Canada and it will not work in the U.S.A.! Guns are a constitutional right there! Take away guns and it will take away security...the 'bad guys' will always, always have guns....to take them away from the general population would be folly at best. How are people to protect their homes and beloved ones if they haven't the capability? So many crimes could be averted by the mere presence of a sidearm...gun control is a pipe dream.

@lindilou,I don't think they want to take our guns away,but maybe control who owns AK47's.BTW I don't own a gun,(not allowed,due to something I did some 38 years ago) and I don't mind.I would like to see the US put a stop to letting China flood our country with their cheap,crap guns,we have our own gun makers.
