my friend told me that lately he's been hearing someone calling his name.every time he turned around to answer,there was nobody there to speak to.when he is in his room,he hears his mother calling him.when he answers to his mother she sais him that she hasn't called him.he is scared that he might have smth.any idea about what is happening to him?

hhmmm probably so, cuz in my case i have a high imagination, it's way opposite than what my university course needs right now ;)

There is a story in the Bible where a son heard a voice and when he went to his dad and ask if it was him after the third time he told the son it is the lord calling you say I am here lord your servant what do you want. Might try answering like this can't hurt.

My mom lives 200 miles away.. I still hear her saying my name... It is normal. It is just one of those memories that are so well embedded that the wind or a fan can bring it to your conciance. IF it were more of talking to him I would be concerned. But just his name... Think about it how many times does he hear mom say his name.. It is a reflex.

WOW, scary . i have been through a similar thing too, not only voices, sometimes i wake up to go to the toilet and i see my sister going to the toilet also but when i ask her in the morning, she says she never went their seriously, she's not joking. sometimes i used to also hear my mum calling me too, going to her , she says she didn't . it's scary i hope it won't come back to me :( . tell him, think positively and be with friends and stuff, also pray a lot. don't let him think too much about it, it'll pass. hope so, good luck.

it's not like the thing you've described.i want to ask you smth.about the thing with your sister.you saw her instantly for a second and then you thought it was on your imagination,or she passed through you and went to the bath and then she went back to her room?
nope, the thing with my sister it happened twice actually, i'd wake up exactly at the same time, about 2:10am, i'd feel like going to the bath and i can't sleep, so i get up, get out of the room and i see her coming out of the toilet, for some reason i didn't ask her anything, she just passed aside and i guessed she went back to her room. another time, like 4 days later, i wake up during similar time, i go to the kitchen to get a drink, then i see my sister sitting on the sofa in the complete darkness, i ask her what's wrong, just to see if she's real, she answers in a normal voice saying she was thirsty as well. i got so scared of her because i remebered the other night, so i quickly went back to my room, then afterwards i hear objects been shifted in the kitchen like a tray been put down on the floor, cups getting out of the cupboard. i just made myself fall asleep. next morning she told me the same thing, she never did wake up. and in case your going to point out that she might've been sleep walking, i can assure that she never has in her life.

wow..sounds scary.could be just your sister making fun of you.otherwise,i think that your sister's behavior is very strange.i have a friend that her sister is schizophrenic and she stays up at nights in complete darkness sitting on the sofa and she seems somewhat peaceful while staring on the ceiling.have you noticed anything strange in your sister's behavior?and i would want some details if you don't mind.i want sex and age of yours and the age of your sister.i hope i'm not being indiscreet...
Me= Male, 22 years old
Sister = Female, 16 years old.
Her behaviour was completely normal during daytime. PLUS, my mum and dad told me to stop talking about it, either they knew something was obviously wrong with her or the house. so i stopped talking about it in order not to scare my sister, i think it got to do with our house, it was kind of really old and big. so we moved away soon after for my dads work. and nothing like that ever happened, our house is now pretty much recently new. :)
