When it is understood that the Spirit of Love, is what drives all prophets and the resulting traditions to seek for the Truth of the Everlasting, there would be no divisions, for in the end ignorance notwithstanding, they all seek for the same thing. There are many paths to the top of the mountain and those who reach that peak will embrace all their brothers. being move of Joy and Love. :)

@Gabalis - You have a good point. I was going to delete this question, because, like Raider8763 stated, there are so many related themes to this question, just worded differently. I decided to let it ride.
Well we have a lot of Hindus, 2 sects of Muslims, Protesran and Catholic divided up into various sub groups, Methodist, Lutheran, Baptist, Episcopalians etc...), and Jews. Not to mention Mormons, Buddhist and others. You know better than I. There are so many religious theme questions on this site.

Seperation between the Secular and Christianity is a good thing, because the last time they colaborated, people were burned at the stake. Interstingly enough, the Holy See has never repealed the editcs of the Inquisition. It was the power over the secular arm, by the church, that made the burnings possible and still could be if they attained the power to do so today. Fairly scarry I'd say!
