Tee hee hee, I was still 3 years in the making!

Collecting my Mothers groceries from the grocery van, the driver mentioned it to another customer, when I told my mother she scolded me for listening to rumours, not until the evening news came on and she heard the tragic news did I get an apology. :-(

A Friday as I recall !

Yes- I remember that horrible day! I was in high school and saw the news bulletin that he had been shot! Prayers were sent that it would not be too bad but it was! Those were terrible days! Seeing the funeral procession was very sad and seeing little John saluting his dads body as it passed was heartbreaking!

3rd grade,all I knew was they let us out of school early and something was very very wrong.  :(

I was in kindergarten, I cried and cried.  That's how much influence he had over the nation, even as children.....

I remember the newscast, and my mum saying over and over "It can't be" a truly memorable time for all the wrong reasons

6th grade, morning recess....saw all the teachers at my little country elementary school racing to the 5th grade room, where the teacher had a TV. 
When we returned from recess, our teacher (Beverly J. Crane) announced our president had been shot and badly injured, but there was a spark of hope. 
Moments later she got a phone call from the office.  "The spark has gone out," she said, when she returned to the front of the room. 

I remember hearing it on the early morning radio news.I was 15 I think.I can remember being shocked & a little sad.he was very popular even in this country.
