hector5559, when I turned 50, I requested a treadmill test. It was stopped within a couple of minutes and I had to come back for a medically induced "stress" test. My pulse accelerated so quickly, I couldn't be left on the treadmill.
The stress test artificially (induced with medication) sped up my heartbeat while I was laying on the "table". It was a very uncomfortable feeling, like having a panic attack. I'm just laying there and all of a sudden my heart is beating wildly. When the testing time was over, I was given another med that reduced my pulse to normal.
The results were "normal", and I was told to never have a treadmill test again. I'm overdue and just dread the thought of it.
Hoping all is well with you, my friend.
