What does cancer feel like? What kind of pain is it?
I've had this stabbing pain on the left side like lower inside of my back. I thought it was a pulled muscle but I've had it about a month and it seems to be getting worse. I also found a lump on my other side under my rib cage; it doesn't hurt though. I'm kinda getting scared. So I was wondering about the pain; is every body different or is there any particular type of pain when you have cancer? I'll be seeing a really good doctor this Monday morning....
I directed this question to people that have cancer, not to just anyone such as yourself who feel qualified to tell me I'm being insensitive. Do you have cancer? If not, then your answer or anything you have to say about it is unqualified and misrepresentative of the information I am looking for. If I had cancer (if I do have cancer), I would be most receptive to questions of this type and more than willing to share my experience if it would alleviate some or all of the fears a person such as myself may have.

Please just see the doctor instead of scaring yourself with uneducated diagnosis's. This is really an insensitive question for a person fighting cancer to read I think.

Look, I have pain, a lump that shouldn't be there and I want to know if the pain I have might be related. It is quite insensitive of YOU to give me this OPINION of yours. I've been living with this for a week now and it's really the only thing I've been thinking about. What if I'm going to be fighting cancer, huh?
No one here has a medical degree and opinion is what you get when you ask for medical advice from unqualified volunteers. You want a better answer? Find a site with doctors and pay for the answer. It's not my problem that you are freaking yourself out. I am not insensitive, but you appear to be a hypochondriac. I had a grandmother like you who always thought she was dying because of some ache, pain or bump. Eventually she did die of old age. It's only been a week. See your doctor tomorrow about your pain.
If you do find out you have cancer, which I highly doubt, see a holistic doctor. They can cure cancer, MD's can not.
