    WHAT DOES ON BUS STAND FOR IN MY CHRYSLER?

    It means there is a problem with the PCM (powertrain control module). Have the car serviced. It should be reading No bus actually, not On bus. 


    This would also explain why the steering is hard.

    I can not tell you what it will cost. It could be a matter of just resetting the code. The diagnostic fee may be about $75.00 however.
