    looking for DC motor switch

    Question: I have one 12 v DC motor, and one 0.5 - 1 v motor

One runs off a small wind turbine and a small solar panel. "The 0.5 - 1 v motor"

The other one is plugged in to an outlet. "the plug converts to 12v DC for the motor"

What I am looking for is a switch "of some kind" that will switch the plugged in DC motor ON when the small wind turbine and a small solar panel are not producing enough power. Then switch the plugged in 12v DC motor off, when the small wind turbine and a small solar panel start to power the 0.5 - 1 v motor, and so on.

Does anyone know of anything that can achieve this?

    Thanks

I am not quite sure what you mean but you can obtain a transformer to reduce the 12V circuit down to 0.5V, if you both a 12V motor and a 0.5V motor.
