Stop thinking of yourself and look outside of yourself.

There is an entire world out there that you can participate in,

instead of thinking about how lonely you are.

Organizations are always looking for volunteers.

It's when you have a generous spirit and do for others

without looking at it for what's in it for you, that the

universe rewards you with what you need.

join the club. That's why a lot of us are on here.......b/c we're lonely . It sucks to have no family ,or no family nearby. I know some older people that have 4 grown kids, and all of them live out of state. Start going to clubs and organizations, and you will make some good, close friends. And go to a church. They always have activities  you can work on.

ditto ! i am a single parent of two an have been single for come up on 7 yrs, an i'm 37 ,an i've done the club an outting scene an church ,still notta so,idk what else to do . any answers that aren't testomonials !! :} email me if ur single an near fl, i know this isn't a dating site but i've seen worse ,u never know ,lol just label it ,,,,U ASKED,!!

Go and volunteer somewhere, as there are great needs for that.  Begin with your local Senior Center, they have many clients who may love a visit, or help with a program.  Look into a singles club in your area, as you certainly are not the only one out there who is lonely.
