Turn on your Xbox 360 and go to "My Xbox." Select "Sign In" by pressing the "A" button. Choose your profile and press "A."

Navigate to the "Game Marketplace" and select "Explore Game Content" by pressing "A." This allows you to browse all of the Xbox Live Marketplace's games, game add-ons and demos.

Select the game you would like to download and purchase by pressing the "A" button. The game's download menu will appear.

Select "Buy" if you want to purchase the full game. The cost in Microsoft points will be displayed to the right of the "Buy" option. Select "Get Trial Game" (if applicable) to download a demo for free.

Select "Confirm Download" to use your Microsoft Points to purchase the game. If you use a prepaid code, select "Redeem Code." The game will be added to your "Active Downloads."

Hit the Xbox Guide button on the center of your controller when the system notifies you that your game has finished downloading. A menu will pop up; select "Play Now" to begin playing your new game with no disc.
