I can't imagine the frustration and inconvenience these people are enduring. So many of us are anxious to point a finger or harass someone for problems we created themselves or are beyond tour "control". I don't know what's wrong with THEM, but they are acting like my mom, biting the hand there to care.

I live in CT and though I do not keep up with the news as much as I could, I had not heard this. Anger, frustration, fear, remember we just went through 2 weeks of no electricity last Oct into Nov. while CL&P lied to us and the regulatory commission about having enough trucks available for a crisis and lied about having up to date equipment when a lot of what they have is outdated because some money pincher decided to not spend the money on equipment but wrote in the books that the lines and equipt, had been updated. CL&P and Northeast Utilities are still not up to speed in getting power back up. You have to live in the cold with no electricity while repair trucks sit idle to know the frustration the people are feeling this time around. I don;t think frustration is solely a north east thing.
Do you have a link to the story? Was it adults who threw the eggs or kids? Was it egg pelting by kids due to Halloween? It's wrong no matter what the reason but some people just do not handle stress well.
