If you can retrieve the deleted ones, follow these instructions to repair them.
Instructions
1
Open the Start menu. Click "Control Panel." Click "Add/Remove Programs." This will open a list of all installed programs on your computer, including codecs.
2
Select the codec that needs repairing from the list of programs. Click "Uninstall." Confirm that you wish to uninstall by clicking "Yes." Depending on the codec, there may be additional user input needed. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstall process.
3
Check your media player for updates. Sometimes an out-of-date player can be causing compatibility issues with codec packs. Virtually all media players come with a built-in update tool. This tool can usually be found within the Tools or Help menu, and will likely be labeled something like "Check for updates." Click on this option to see if your media player needs an upgrade. It should automatically take you through the upgrade process if one is necessary. Close your media player once this is complete.
4
Download the latest version of the codec pack from the developer's website. Once the files have been installed, they should be integrated into your media player. You may need to restart your computer for these changes to take effect.
