    2/3 divided by 8/7 is the same as 2/3 x 7/8. (numerator X numerator; denominator X denominator; then reduce)  I.e.  2 x 7 = 14; 3 x 8 = 24  yeilds 14/24 = 7/12.

    'Tis only fractions.

who can remember from the 4th grade how to do fractions ? that was 58 yrs ago for me.

    Invert 8/7 and multiply. 2/3 X 7/8= 14/24, which = 7/12(dividing 14 and 24 by 2).

    2/3 divided by 8/7 is 0.58333333333.

    16/7

Thank you for explaining this to me.
