Transplant your sansevieria if the plant becomes too crowded in its pot. Use a pot one size larger, filled with a commercial potting soil for cacti and succulents. Always use a pot with a drainage hole, as well-drained soil is a must for sansevieria.

If it is venomous, then you must be extra careful... Just kidding, snake plants have no venomous, but maybe they could constrict you!

Hahaha...it is poisonous though if the leaves are eaten...it's also know as mother-in-laws tongue! ;)
Now, I wonder how it may have gotten that name, although my mother-in-law, has always been better to me than my mother was to my wife. They must have named it after her..
No, well, not from close up anyway. She passed several years ago, of all the daughters-in-law, she seemed to dislike my wife the most. My wife was the best to her, in spite of her spite!
