Welcome to akaQA. We have a variety of people here from every walk of life, holding many different viewpoints. We also have many with a sense of humor but some without one! You will quickly learn that sometimes, you just have to "agree to disagree" and not take things personally. Enjoy!

A moderator simply watches the forum and makes sure questions are answered properly and also enforces the rules of the forum which are the typical rules you find on most forums. No harassing other members, no sexist comments, no porn or inappropriate pictures, no insulting or racist comments, no attacking religions, no preaching/pushing of any particular religion, no attacking minorities, etc. The best thing to remember about this forum is that we are a help site and if you can not be helpful, then do not post anything. This forum is unique from other help forums in that it allows the members to interact with each other, so we are also a social forum but always remember, akaQA is a help forum first and foremost. Telling people to Google an answer is not considered helpful. The forum is one of the most basic ones to use. Just type in a question and post it. There will be a red notification button that appears next to the akaQA logo that alerts you to any answer/s you receive for the question. Post only one answer per question. If you think of another answer or wish to add another answer to a question use the edit link attached to your first answer and add any further thoughts to the first answer. To comment back to a person in any particular thread, you would use, "comment this answer" to do so. Do not use the "add new answer" box to reply to another's comment. akaQA is a community of all volunteer members Freedom of speech is recognized but within reason . Moderators have the right to remove or edit any post on the forum at their sole discretion. If you do not agree with a moderators decision, you are not to post a complaint to the forum and the forum members, you are to use the contact link found at the bottom of any page and address your concerns to the administrators of akaQA.
