children in her care. The mother is a working pediatrician and the father is a media executive. The parents are being blamed for this, i.e., they have a lot of $, "stay home and watch your kids", etc. 1) Don't you think these comments are unfair and insensitive? 2) Does it make you think twice before having a "stranger" take care of your kids? http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/10/26/mother-two-children-allegedly-killed-by-nanny-kept-detailed-family-blog/

36 yrs. ago, we felt that we would not entrust our kids to just anyone. Fortunately, my mother-in-law, needed a job, so we paid her to daycare. This she did until they were in middle school. And we pay it forward, as my wife and I day care for our 3 grand kids (two families). Two are with us at least 3 days per wk. ave. and the one other off and on, one day per wk. We are pleased to do this, as we are that concerned about quality day care today! We are fortunate to be able to do this for our kids, not all families have same retired grandparents who are able to do so...
