    I have hot water tanks in Parallel, shouId I keep them at the same temp.

    yes you should have them running at same temp.Because if one is not the same as the other one may not kick in and heat.therefore one will be trying to heat them both and costing you more money

    If both tanks are connected in parallel, you can turn one off and let the one that is on, heat both tanks or set one at a lower temp. Either way, it should work ok. But if you need more hot water than you can get from one tank such as in a motel or laundry then there are systems used in both that economize on hot water that are superior to household systems.
