Arrange the programs on the screen the way you want them to appear. Recreate the error message if the screenshot is for technical support.

Press the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard to copy the screen to the clipboard as an image. Press the "Alt" and "Print Screen" keys to capture the active window instead of the entire screen. The Print Screen key may be abbreviated on your keyboard.

Open the "Start" menu, click the "All Programs" option. Move to the "Accessories" folder and click "Paint." Press the "Ctrl" and "V" keys to paste the image. Alter the image if necessary, then save it for sending via email or later use.

Thank you. However, when the game is on it takes up the entire screen. If I press "Print Screen" what is copied is the desktop screen, not the game screen. Is there some way to correct this?

Check your programs and see if you have what is called a snipping tool. You can "cut out" what you want to copy using the snipping tool. Just type snipping tool into your computers search under the start button.

Thank you, Colleen. Turns out the part I was missing was that in "paint" you have to navigate to the image.

and this is why I hate "paint". I use photofiltre. It's much easier to use. You could just do a right click paste after hitting the print screen.
