    Whats best to use for removing paving flag paint of the flags.

    i painted my paving flags with masonary paint wich looks awful can i remove it.

    You can try acetone. It seems to work on removing most anything. A good word of advice when you are painting or using an unfamiliar cleaning agent...is to always find a discreet place to do a test spot, or only paint one of a set, in order to establish whether or not you like the paint. This one little step will save you alot of headaches over the years. Hope this is of help to you.


    Check on one first, to see how the material reacts to using acetone on it. Acetone is an extremely strong solvent that has been known to disolve some plastics if left exposed to it for too long. Whenever I glue something, I always clean it with acetone, as it cleans off everything like oils that could become a barrier to molecular adhesion occuring between pieces.


    It's good stuff, but you have to be careful with it. It has a high evaporation rate and dries quickly.
