Republicans don't care if you immigrate here, as long as you do it legally. It's better than the way they do it in the middle east......If you're caught entering their country, without papers, you will be throne in jail.

I am a Republican and I have no problem with immigrants coming to the USA, provided

    1. they do it legally

    2. they contribute to society

    3. They adapt to our ways and at least try to learn english

    4. do not participate in criminal acts.

The USA was founded on the hard work of immigrants, they loved the USA and was proud to be here. Most of them loved their homeland too but they adapted to American culture.  many had and still have their own neighborhoods where they can continue their heritage, have parties, parades, do as they want but they still loved america and many went to war for America.

If an immigrant does not comply with the above then they should be deported immediately.

I believe the liberal democrat says:

They don't need to .come here legally (they call them undocumented)

They don't need to work if they don't want to, we will support them

We should adapt to THEIR ways and heritage -we should learn their language

Crime will be punished by understanding why they commit crimes and reward them with amnesty and as many chances as it takes to make them stop crime.

    Make E-verify mandatory nationwide

In this country, the rule of law guarantees equal treatment to every individual, including more than one million immigrants to whom we grant permanent residence every year. That is why we oppose any form of amnesty for those who intentionally violate the law. Granting amnesty only rewards and encourages more law breaking.
We support the mandatory use of the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (S.A.V.E.) program--an internet-based system that verifies the lawful presence of applicants.
We insist upon enforcement at the workplace through verification systems so that jobs can be available to all legal workers. Use of the E-verify program--an internet-based system that verifies the employment authorization and identity of employees-- must be made mandatory nationwide. State enforcement efforts in the workplace must be welcomed, not attacked. When Americans need jobs, it is absolutely essential that we protect them from illegal labor in the workplace.

Here is one idea. Since the illegal immigrants won't respect our laws, give them immunity from prosecution. Not legal status as citizen. No public benefits. Cant ever vote. But it will never happen.

I'm ok with all but "give them immunity from prosecution'. You mean; allow them special privileges to kill, maim, rob and steal from legal citizens?? That's outrageous!
    zorro

    No, silly.
    Vinny

Ok, you had me worried there for a bit.. I'm silly. :)
