1
Locate the fuse box in the Dodge Caravan. In the various Caravan models, like the ES, C/V, LE or SE, you must look in multiple places including those located in the engine by the battery, under the driver's seat (for power seat fuses) or near the steering column.
2
Read the inside panel of each fuse box to see what electrical equipment is controlled in each box. Refer to your owner's manual first if it's available.
3
Turn off the vehicle, pull out the fuse you suspect of being blown and check the middle wire to verify it's burned out.
4
Find the amperage for the blown fuse by reviewing the inside panel of the fuse box it was removed from. Replace the blown fuse with a new one of the same rating so that you do not experience additional wiring issues or damage.
5
Replace the covers on the open fuse panels. This is especially important in the engine so that water does not get in and cause an electrical failure to the Dodge Caravan. Start the vehicle and make sure the electrical issue has been resolved.
