Did you receive your solar panels from the government? I think not, it would cost billions to supply Senior Citizens with this technology, maybe in the future this would be a viable proposition but utility companies are never going to agree to this even though they keep spewing out how much they care about their customers, until we get a government with the gonads to stand up to these corporations things will not change, can't see that happening in the near future "unfortunately", you're one of the fortunate few who will will benefit from this very simple but expensive solution.

People used to use wind power as energy for pumping water and electric for their homes. however wind doesn't blow all the time- nor does the sun shine all the time. These were windmills which I'm sure we have all heard of.
