It's dangerous for most people to be out late at night but more so for teens, especially females.  

Its not safe for anyone to be out late .. this has happened in Australia on a busy street, today the people of Melbourne March as one for awareness and for justice..

Curfew at sunset worked well for me….but that was my choice. 

Because "It`s a jungle out there"...All sorts of dangers lurk...bad..mad and evil people who prey on people...Teenagers and women are more vulnerable as Colleen says...A parents worst nightmare...Try and improve your chances of safety...Don`t walk home alone...Stick with groups of people who you know...Beware of the affects that alcohol and drugs can have in impairing your actions...keep parents well informed of where you are going and what time you`ll be back..Don`t hang out in badly lit areas...don`t accept lifts home from anyone who you don`t know...or anyone under the influence of drink/drugs etc....The list is endless...Just stay safe!...(I hope)!

It's also dangerous for teenagers to be out late 

at night because sometimes some are tempted

to engage in bad behaviour under cover of dark,

with things such as vandalism and theft Usually,

unless you're going to a friends house or the

store, say...there's no good reason to be hanging

about late at night.
