    I have heard in a secret location in the South of England a top pharmacuetical company are growing Marijhana approx between 30k to 60k plants - is this true? if it is true why then have these large pharmacuetical companies given soul rights to this plant which is one of natures healers? Why can't it be legislated for the ordinary members of the public to be able to grow this frugal plant for medical reason's rather than be charged extortionate prices by these large pharmaceutical companies?     Not all cannabis is grown for pharmaceutical / intoxicant reasons. It is also grown for its fibre which is used in building and for reinforcing plastics. I think the medical  benefits of cannabis have yet to be established and the downside is that behaviour modification of users outweighs possible benefits. It is almost certain however that the ill effects are nowhere near as bad as misuse of alcohol.
