My best friend is Laurie. I would describe her as a person who likes me in spite of my faults. I'm the one she called in the middle of the night when her mom died suddenly. I'm the one she took to the beach for a week when we were kids and her parents rented a place for a vacation. She's the one I confide everything to, and trust her to keep things confidential. She's the one I turn to when life is NOT going well and when life IS going great. We have known each other for 55 years and never had a disagreement.
