They both have digestive systems which end up with a structure called the cloaca, in which the waste product (uric acid) exits the body. No need for separate liquid and solids, its a semi-solid waste, all-in-one. They both lay eggs (except for the live birth species of fish).

they have light bones. They're streamlined. They both lay eggs. Some fish have pointed mouths, sorta like birds. They both have tails.....to act as a rudder. Some fish have wings and "fly " , but not very far. The fins on the fish are kinda like wings. Some species of birds and fish migrate every year.
