When I was a kid my mother had all of these sexist rules for us to abide by...for example..she would allow my younger brothers out til midnite but us girls (who were older) had to be in by 10!!! She made many such rules and it all made me so angry that I wanted to be a boy just so I could have the advantages that they seemed to have over me as a girl. Has something occurred in your life to perhaps cause a similar feeling in you? Sometimes, as girls, we are treated as second class citizens, even though this is 2012!! There are still present in our society those 'old-school' impressions of what it is to be female...this seems to be perpetuated by those who still live in the dark ages, like my mother!! Find someone to talk with..someone trustworthy and up-to-date in thier thinking...have a good talk..express yourself and see what kind of ideas and solutions you can find to help you to face your problems rather than attempting to escape from them. My daughter works in a hospital in the UK where gender reassignment operations are carried out. Can you believe that these ops are done on the NHS, that is, paid for with taxpayers money?
