iump in throat for about 2 months now. could it be acid

had a lump in my throat and it does not hurt just feels strange when i swllow. my doctor says it might be acid and gave me stronger tablets that have had no effect yet after two to three weeks of taking them

Please see a doctor...could be thyroid troubles..goiter perhaps or an infection of sorts!! Self diagnosis is ominous at best so seeing a doctor is paramount in discovering what is causing you this distress. Peace and good luck honey!

Ask immediately for a referal to an ears, nose and throat specialist , don't waste time with a G.P

Your right Umbriel, a referral would be needed, but I wouldn't waste ant time getting one, I speak from experience and wasted too much precious time listening to what a G.P "thought"

Step back and see that it is foolish to look for a medical diagnosis from such an on-line forum. Get back to the Dr. and do it as soon as possible! ( Even if this was a service provided by DOCTORS, they couldn't tell you anything without seeing you in person, and testing, etc.)
